Drone Transport POC on Remote Islands Aimed at Improving Transplant Medical Environment
ANA Holdings, Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Shinya Katanosaka), Goto City (Mayor: Ichitaro Noguchi), Soraya Corporation (Location: Goto City; President: Sho Hamamoto), and Nagasaki University ( President: Shigeru Kono) conducted Japan's first demonstration experiment of organ (rat liver) transport by drone on March 5, 2022 in Goto City, Nagasaki, with the aim of improving the work environment in the organ transplant field.

CEO Hamamoto will speak at a panel discussion and introduce the results of the NEDO DRESS Regional Demonstration, an initiative of the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) for the practical application of navigation management system technology.

We will conduct a drone delivery demonstration operation of daily necessities and medical supplies for implementation of a remote island logistics service.
Aiming at social implementation of drone delivery logistics service in remote islands that are rooted in daily life, we will conduct a demonstration experiment of drone delivery of daily necessities from Fukue Island to two secondary remote islands, Hisakajima and Kabashima. As a local drone operator, Soraya will coordinate with government agencies, businesses, medical professionals, and local residents in advance, and will conduct drone flight operations.
